-Provide centralized management of the processes, methods, and technologies used to analyze current or proposed projects based on numerous key characteristics.-Manage assigned projects to completion, ensuring that all activities are coordinated and completed on time and within budget.-Manage vendors for sub-contracting tasks as well as facility development-Develop accurate project plans and budgets for all assigned projects, modify as needed and direct close-out of completed jobs including the receipt of all required documentation. -Lead meetings with team members to review the status of each job and implement changes as necessary to ensure timely project completion. -Attend customer meetings to provide the customer with comprehensive job status reports and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise. -Ensure accurate and complete files are maintained for projects and appropriate close-out documents are distributed in a timely manner in accordance with corporate and customer standards. -Ensure that all jobs are maintained in a project tracking system with complete accuracy.-Develop a technical understanding of federal contract work.-Conduct candidate interviews and actively work to bring new employees onboard.

-Responsible for all necessary administrative and technical actions to initiate and execute major maintenance and repair of MSRC’s fleet of 14 Responder Class Oil Spill Response Vessels, 16 Ocean Tank Barges, miscellaneous smaller vessels, and equipment. This includes: develop specifications for drydocking and other maintenance and repair activities; perform market research to obtain necessary pricing information; and on-site management of contract performance which consists of: negotiation of changes, quality assurance of contract performance, management of costs, and coordinating regulatory approval of inspections and repairs.-Manage and maintain the company’s preventative maintenance system including development of maintenance procedures for new equipment and technical review of existing standards and procedures to achieve optimum use of available resources.-Conduct internal audits for regulatory and company policy compliance.-Provide advanced engineering analysis of repairs, modifications, failures, and maintenance practices in order to recommend changes to increase reliability.-Serve as a primary contact for engineering guidance which is to provide feedback and process guidance to operators, engineers, vendors, and marine inspectors.-Conduct research and development for future vessel acquisitions of equipment and vessels to ensure compliance with current as well as developing requirements.ACCOMPLISHMENTS2018 - Overhauled the company's hydraulic hose replacement program and reduced cost by 33% by switching to Condition-Based-Maintenance.2017 - Managed the most expensive drydocking in the company's history at $2,200,000 which was kept in budget and on schedule.2016 - Arranged and supervised the proper repair of a vessel's diesel generator which had ongoing problems due to previous misdiagnosis.

-Work intimately with builders, designers, and project engineers through the final building as well as commissioning stages of the newly constructed ship to perform closeout functions as well as update ship maintenance records.-Conduct annual Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) trials.-Identifies, delegates, and ensures the safe execution of all operations and maintenance related to propulsion of the six 5000 kW Thrustmaster azimuth thrusters, power generation by the eight HiMSEN diesel generators totaling 45 MW, and hotel equipment onboard the ship with a department of 16 crew members-Develop then provide daily quality assurance of routine and on-demand deliverables.-Interface with the USCG and class societies regarding compliance with rules and regulations.-Understand – and pass on - company and industry standards, policies, and procedures.-Responsible for ordering supplies and spare parts for all machinery via the Orion inventory management system-Apply knowledge of the principles, practices, and theories of engineering fundamentals to develop work plans as well as provide training to junior department members.
