At my position with the Illinois State Water Survey I work on groundwater modeling projects with the goal of bringing novel modeling approaches to the complex water resources projects around the state.
In my position with IIHR I am using hydrologic computer modeling to assess the benefits of watershed scale changes meant to return some of the natural functioning to the watershed. I work with a variety of computer software in my work including the Microsoft Office suite of programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), Tecplot, Matlab, ArcMap, QGIS, and open sourced hydrologic modeling software.
