In my nascent years, a setback ensued post-kidney surgery with my initial 'O' level exam failure, an episode that underscored the essence of perseverance.On my subsequent attempt at 'O' levels, I embraced a stint as a part-time telemarketer. This endeavor proved instrumental in honing indispensable sales and communication acumen.For a decade, I navigated diverse corporate landscapes while I continuously learn through part-time studies and from experienced mentors I have the privilege to meet in my employment. Nonetheless, I realised that my professional ascent was impeded by my disabilities, which prompted a mentor to suggest that I explore entrepreneurship as an alternative pathway to achieve my career goals.In 2007, I co-founded two language services enterprises. Through unwavering commitment and collective effort, I expanded operations across multiple markets, including Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and South Korea, accruing annual revenues exceeding millions. Between 2012 and 2017, I seized the opportunity to reside in South Korea, spearheading market establishment initiatives.In 2017, to prioritize personal wellbeing and prepare for a resurgence of my passion, I strategically divested my ownership interests, signaling the commencement of a new phase in my professional trajectory. From 2019 to 2022, I took the opportunity to learn and upgrade myself during the COVID pandemic.Building upon the foundation established through my experience as an entrepreneur, my vision expanded to include developing a cutting-edge EduTech application, leading to the inception of Project Elev8, a startup merging an online personal development learning management system with offline in-person mentor coaching services.
