Project responsibilities included coordination of company engineering, company project controls, and sub-contractors to deliver a 15,000 TN structural steel package from design to construction completion. Additional packages were managed during the course of the project including structural pre-cast, 3rd party inspection for hoists and rigging, clean room epoxy flooring, architectural fit-out, fire stopping, and handover involvement. Lead change order management and risk mitigation for all direct contracts, as well as negotiations for project closeout. Participated in bid evaluation process for structural steel and precast packages. Participated in construction driven execution effort during engineering to mitigate change order work. Coordinated work package planning effort in the office prior to site mobilization. Participated in pre-assembled unit coordination to reduce project schedule. Managed multiple contracts, cost forecast, progress & performance, scope changes, cost change orders, schedule, punch list/open RFIs, safety culture, and negotiated contract completion. Negotiated over $2 million in savings on the structural steel package from Contractor submitted change orders. Involved in value engineering analysis to avoid unnecessary cost, as well as design engineering revision mitigation to limit change. Saved over $500,000 by modifying structural details that were not part of IFC drawings during bid, so would be a change order. Part of LEED silver team at the beginning of the project. Involved with project from initial site work phase to MC of $2.3 Billion Capital Project. In addition to management responsibilities, was part of volunteer team tasked to raise funding, procure material, and install a $120,000 new playground for a local elementary school.
