• Responsible for Crude Oil & Condensate scheduling duties related to refinery supply, lease, and discretionary trading• Manage daily/monthly refinery crude oil supply/demand requirements within Canada and US• Creates value by optimizing supply/demand portfolio, optimizing refinery slate and batch trading• Provides refinery with updated crude delivery schedules. Participate in weekly refinery operations conference calls and monthly planning meetings• Schedules crude on but not limited to Enbridge mainline, Keystone, Canadian Feeder pipelines, Dakota Access, Marathon, Midvalley • Promptly communicates pipeline specific intelligence for crude oil trading and logistics groups• Manages tank and inventory positions to ensure levels are within tolerance and monthly objectives• Limit risk exposure for assigned pipelines by working alongside the Risk Management department • Mentored new grads, Co-op, and summer students to develop their knowledge and skillset in order to fulfill their work experience requirements within the trading and logistics department• Manages tank and crude inventory positions and ensuring inventories are within tolerance and meet monthly and year-end inventory target objectives set by the company• Liaise with commercial team, accounting department, management and counterparties including shippers and pipelines
