Retired Army Lieutenant General with 36 years of Service in Europe (EUCOM), the Middle East (CENTCOM), and CONUS (NORTHCOM). Deployed to crisis situations in the Balkans, Iraq, and Afghanistan – 6 years in combat. Held positions on the Army Staff, on Joint Staffs, and in Installation Commands. Commanded at the company, battalion, squadron, and brigade levels. Served in multiple Commanding and Deputy Commanding General roles.Extensive experience leading very large organizations with stewardship of enormous budgetary and material resources. In my most recent role, I was the Deputy Commanding General for EUCOM.
