Under physician direction, assumes care for a variety of patients in the emergency department through frequent assessment and reassessment, and administration of pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies. Obtains laboratory specimens, ensures patient safety and coordinates with the inter-disciplinary team to provide care for patients.Assists with documentation and provides care for critically ill patients as well as those with traumatic injury. Completed one-year nurse residency program including completion of evidence-based practice project for quality improvement in the department.

Administers COVID-19 vaccinations as ordered. Assists with setup and takedown of mobile vaccination clinics at various locations. As needed, performs the role of clinical site supervisor; ensuring proper vaccine handling, and administering treatment to patients who experience adverse vaccine side effects.
