Michael Levin is a proven achiever with 20+ years experience in technology, specializing in Cloud Solutions, Security, Identity, Ecommerce and Telecommunications. He has repeatedly demonstrated expertise in new business growth, including both entrepreneurial start-ups and business unit launches within the corporate environment. Since 2008, first as EVP, Sales of PhoneFactor and later representing the acquired service throughout Microsoft, Michael has led sales growth and adoption of Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite services, including Azure Multi-factor Authentication, Azure Information Protection and Microsoft Cloud App Security. He re-designed a failing sales model and rebuilt the sales team, increasing revenue 8-fold in less than four years. His efforts directly led to the acquisition of PhoneFactor by Microsoft in 2012.Previously, as EVP at ecommerce software and services provider LaGarde, Michael wore virtually every non-technical hat as head of Sales, Marketing and Business Development, leader of Corporate Development and fund raising efforts and partner, adviser and confidant to the Founder and CEO. Under Michael’s leadership, LaGarde grew to over $8 million in sales in 2006 from a $1.2 million annual run rate when he first joined the Company. In the process, he successfully established LaGarde as a recognized leading national player in the ecommerce market, culminating in a Venture Capital $6 million investment at a valuation eight times the Company’s value when he joined it. In addition, Michael spent 15 years with Sprint in increasingly responsible positions, most recently as Assistant Vice-President of Sales for the Broadband Wireless group.
