This involves overseeing a spend budget of $91M, 70 contracts, and 548 contractors spanning the enterprise, plus inter-agency agreements. Successes include overhauling procurement operations—developing a strategy which identified cost savings across all 22 service contracts and delivering a $5M cost reduction within the first 60 days of hire. Also notable, I was brought into a team to assess market opportunities for software consolidation of disparate systems that manage the fleet activities of ~13,000 vehicles. We awarded the contract to a third-party small business that saved ~$1.3M.
