Electrical Test Technician-Troubleshoot, test, install and perform maintenance on electrical equipment at industrial and commercial establishments, substations and at our shop facility. -Testing and maintenance performed on apparatus such as transformers (oil and dry type), service disconnects (bolted pressure switch, pole mount and load-break types), circuit breaker testing, repair and retro-fitting (oil, air/magnetic, vacuum bottle, insulated case and power), low and medium voltage cable testing (insulation resistance, Hi-Pot and VLF/Tan-Delta), ground fault relay testing, capacitors, CT's/PT's, power meters, various insulation and withstand tests on switchgear and service entrance components, ground resistance testing, power quality metering and IR scanning. -Perform emergency repairs to electrical services due to faults or other types of electrical system damage.
