Integrated Logistics Manager, Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, Stratford, CT (February/09 to present)Provide integrated logistics support for the Egypt VIP Refurbishment Contract and the United Arab Emirates Contract. Logistical support includes providing supply support and managing warranties for spare parts and ground support equipment. Plan and coordinate required training. Ensure timely delivery of technical publications. Manage field service representatives and logistic service representatives’ located in-country. Conduct root cause analysis on any logistical tasks that are not effective in an effort to improve processes and performance.Key Accomplishments:• Used root cause analysis to identify a communication gap between the engineers and logistic managers. Any part numbers that changed were not being forwarded by the engineers to the logistic managers. This communication gap was hindering the ability to meet contract requirements. Communication improved and the issue was resolved.• Successfully used earned value management to measure project performance throughout the period of the Egypt VIP Refurbishment contract.
