Worked with clients in multiple industries to implement cloud based data solutions from existing on premise legacy systems. Used Python to flatten highly variable JSON documents from multiple medical industry sources to a comprehensive Snowflake data warehouse. Also used Python and Scala to enhance data migration to the cloud for an international reinsurance company including designing ETL processes to reduce data latency between source systems and analysts from days to minutes. Worked on document parsing utilizing Azure Cognitive Services to extract data from government filings.

Implemented Cloud based BI solution for inclusion in industry specific applications. Received and parsed data from multiple sources. Used python and Azure DataBricks for ETL processes with JSON data from CosmosDB to tables. Analysis services models were the primary customer modeling and Power BI reports and widgets were embedded within the application. Redesigned data model multiple times to optimize cost and performance with technologies including Azure Data Explorer (Kusto), Data Factory, and Azure Data Lake.
