I'm currently a Project Supervisor for Ervin Cable Construction managing and coordinating the installation of fiber optic house drops and maintenance. I write coordinate splicing and drop crews (In-House and Subcontractors) daily, record necessary data of addresses that are requesting fiber service for documentation, coordinate with forward build crews when fiber damage is discovered along the mainline, deploy crews in a quick and efficient manner whenever maintenance tickets are issued, prepare and conduct meetings with crews and subcontractors, and write daily reports. I have also managed the installation of fiber networks within city limits as well as rural areas for both aerial and underground construction. Previously, I have been an Assistant Construction Manager for Olsson dealing with the installation of conduit for fiber optic networks. I wrote daily/weekly reports and performed inspections of fiber optic handholes. I supervised and advised subcontracting crews to make sure that the quality of work was performed to spec and answered any questions crews had for handhole placement and running lines of conduit within congested Right-of-Way corridors for fiber optic networks. I interacted and assisted with residential complaints and homeowner interactions on the behalf of the contractor and subcontractors.I have also been a field engineer, logistics coordinator, and superintendent for Kiewit Underground. I wrote daily reports, performed operational planning and job hazard analysis assessments; then lead meetings explaining these to clients, purchased materials/tools needed to perform operations, updated As-Build documentation, and developed and performed QC/QA. I also helped bridge the communication between laborers, management, and clientele, as well as made comparison graphs of past purchases and projected future spending while comparing it to budgets and current financial plans.I have experience with BlueBeam, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and GIS software.Currently have my OHSA-10 certification (2019), OHSA-30 certification (2021), BSNF/eRail Safe certification badging (2023), and am First Aid/CPR/AED certified (2023).
