My name is Michael LaMonica, I am a creative advertising specialist with experience in digital design, seeking to utilize my skills in advertising to benefit a brand. During my years at St. Johns University I learned a lot about the advertising industry and what is takes to be a creative mind in this industry. I learned about concept development, copywriting, campaign execution, collaboration, brand development, and so much more. Honestly I could go for hours about everything I was taught involving the advertising industry. While studying at St. Johns University I worked at a pharmacy called Victors located in the Bronx. The small business needed to let local people know about them and I was granted with being one of the main members in creating a campaign. It was an amazing experience, we ended up running a "friendly pharmacists" campaign to let local people know that this pharmacy does not look to make as much profit as possible off of their customers. While at St. Johns University I was also able to work hands on with advertisements using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign to create print, video, web, and banner ads. I was able to put these skills to use in the workplace where I am currently working at Afederal Exterminating. I am responsible for all advertising at the small company and it has been a great joy. I got to grow my skills in Photoshop to create many different types of ads for the company. I also am responsible for using Microsoft Word and Excel to create documents and schedules. I am self motivated and extremely excited to put the skills I have acquired over the years to work.
