I consulted with the Board of Directors of Mallygirl, LLC to restructure the company with the goal of obtaining new investment, or selling the company. The sale of the company was just completed. Over eight months I reorganized the management and operations of the company with the goal of continuing operations until the company could raise investment or be sold. Worked extensively with the primary secured lender, attorneys from multiple stakeholders, dozens of suppliers and the customers of the company. Analyzed several financial alternatives with the board and ultimately guided the company through Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Revelytix built advanced data processing software for the Department of Defense for four years, in 2012 we pivoted the company to the commercial software space building Loom, a software tool data scientists use to work with with data in Hadoop clusters. I closed a $12 million deal with DoD in 2008 and built a team to execute the project. When we pivoted to commercial software, I defined our new strategy and vision and recruited new people to execute.Revelytix software enables data scientists to work more productively with big data accelerating the time to critical business insights.

I was Deputy CTO of Vitria Technology, Inc. and a member of the executive team, leading New Business Initiatives including our Federal Government team, and driving strategic planning for the company. In addition I managed the company's marketing efforts as Sr VP Marketing.Vitria produces process management software and operational intelligence software. I developed the strategy for transitioning the company from their legacy business process management (BPM) products to their new operational intelligence products, creating new messaging, working with industry analysts and developing product strategy. I worked closely with the CEO, CTO, engineering and sales team and managed the marketing team to operationalize our new strategy.

Information Technology Strategy and implementation consultant. I provided product management strategy for BEA's data integration and SOA products and developed and implemented their Federal Government sales strategy.

I founded Metamatrix in 1998 to create technology to integrate data easily. We coined the term Enterprise Information Integration, EII, in 2001 and grew rapidly. I conceived the product hired and managed the engineering team and created and managed our federal operation. Metamatrix has numerous customers in the financial services sector and the federal government including many of the intelligence agencies and DoD. I was directly involved with selling our products to a number of programs at Ft Meade. I was directly involved with having our product certified for the NES Baseline. I am well regarded for my architectural, technical and strategic skills at Ft Meade. I have worked with a fair number of the prime and sub contractors on programs over the years and them quite well. Metamatrix was bought by Red Hat in 2007.

I consulted with the company to restructure after a transition in management. We successfully restructured and transitioned the company in a nine month project, the company is doing well and I remain a member of the board.

After our acquisition by Network Imaging, I was appointed CEO of one of their independant, wholly owned companies, Symetrical Technology. Symetrical manufactured network attached optical storage devices.

NSI started as a systems integrator, and was acquired for the engineering document management software that we had developed along the way. I managed all aspects of the company's strategy and growth. We sold the company to Network Imaging (NASDAQ: IMGX) in 1993.

Reuters was a four billion dollar real-time financial information systems vendor, headquartered in London, England. I managed product strategy and marketing worldwide for a $600 million product line for Reuters at the three primary technical centers in London, Tokyo, and New York. I developed a complete strategic plan for the product area that included complete specifications for significant new software development projects. In addition to a great deal of international travel, the job required many high level presentations to senior management including committees of the Board of Directors of Reuters as well as the senior management of many customers. I worked on number of acquisitions for Reuters.

Bridge Information Systems, a private company headquartered in St. Louis, pioneered the delivery of real-time analytical information on listed stocks and options. I was recruited to start up and manage a sales organization. During my tenure the company revenues grew from four million to seventy million dollars. I recruited and trained a sales and support staff of forty people while opening sales offices in eight cities in the United States and London. The company’s customer list is comprised of all major brokerage firms, banks, exchanges and insurance companies as well as many government agencies. I was largely responsible for the specification and development of the company’s current flagship product.

I helped create and manage the options and futures (derivatives) trading operation for the firm. I invested the firms money in risk arbitrage positions, advised corporate finance on the pricing of various derivative instruments, hedged the firms trading activities, developed strategies for institutional and retail customers, and executed trades on the various exchanges. I pioneered the use of real-time computer systems to analyze the stock and commodities markets for Alex Brown.
