I am an ACA qualified Chartered Accountant working in Private Equity and Private Debt for the largest fund administrator in the UK, SS&C. At SS&C my daily role involves:- managing and building client relations including liaising with all heads of departments and the general partner.- dealing with complex investor queries.- reviewing FATCA, Solvency II and iXBRL tagged accounts.- reviewing and preparing complex calculations including equalisation, drawdown, distributions, carried interest and management fee.- reviewing and preparing quarter and year end IFRS compliant financial statements and ILPA compliant capital statements.- managing and coaching a team of 5 qualified accountants who report directly to me.
