I was raised on a farm in northwest Iowa. I became intrested in everything mechanical at an early age. I attended Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge, Iowa earning a Junior Honor Society award and a Junior College Associates Degree in Farm Power and Equipment Mechanics. My work career started with brief stint as an Nursing Assistant at Friendship Haven Retirement in Fort Dodge, IA in 1968 while attending class during the day.My first job in my chosen career field was as an equipment delivery driver at Case Power and Equipment in Fort Dodge, IA. I have since held positions as Technician, Parts Manager, Field Service Representative for J I Case, Territory Sales Manager for J I Case, Salesman for Case Power and Equipment in Ida Grove, IA, and Parts manager for 4 Case dealers in Des Moines, IA. Titan Machinery (a Case Dealer) was my last employer.I am retired and enjoying retirement. My current responsibilities include traveling on my Harley Tri Glide and keeping my wife's Road Glide 3 and my TriGlide serviced as required.
