At Unified Industries we build custom designed motion lift assists to customer requests as well as process enclosed aluminum track rail and structures for various industries. Unified is part of the Lifting Solutions group at Columbus McKinnon Corporation. The facility at Unified includes a fabrication area, machine shop, sub assembly area and general assembly area for the motion lift assists. As Operations Manager at Unified Industries, I am responsible for all production, scheduling, purchasing, facility maintenance, EHS as well as our SQDC process in which we track Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. The goal at Unified is to ship a quality product to customers’ expectations while also living by Columbus McKinnon's values.

Overseen all incoming and outgoing quality related issues, in doing so I have implemented a quality control team to mitigate the quality related issues within Center Line National Parts Distribution Center. The objective of this position is to fix the quality related issues through the World Class Logistics Methodology. As Operations Manager my responsibilities fall under overseeing the day to day operation to ensure the team is meeting our KPI (Key Performance Indicators) essentially meeting the metrics that are set fourth at the beginning of the new calendar year.
