About Michael Latta
Michael Latta holds a Master’s and Ph.D. from Iowa State University. He joined Coastal Carolina University in 2005 and is now a Professor of Marketing in the E. Craig Wall Sr. Wall College of Business Administration. He has also served four years as Associate Dean of the College from January, 2010 - May, 2015. Prior to joining Coastal Carolina University, he served for 10 years as an Instructor in Forecasting in the AMA Summer School of Marketing Research at University of Notre Dame, as a Professor of Pharmaceutical Marketing in the Erivan K. Haub School of Business at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia EMBA Pharmaceutical Marketing Program from 1991 - 2005, and as an adjunct at The Graduate School of International Management at Thunderbird Summer 1999. Michael also taught online in the summer school program as an Associate Professor of Business Statistics in the Online MBA program at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia from 2004-2010. He has also held business positions in sales, marketing research, product management, strategic planning, and forecasting with AstraZeneca, Boehringer Mannheim, DuPont, and Wyeth as well as operating YTMBA Consulting a strategic research and training business serving pharmaceutical and medical device companies since 1991. Current consulting clients include The Brandon Agency, Santee Cooper, and Teleflex Medical.
