"HOME FOR HEROES", care for homeless war veterans suffering PTSD and other mental disorders, such as addictions and other trauma related issues subject from the effects of war. RSL Lifecare at Narrabeen, NSW started the, "Homes For Heroe's", Program. Our vision is to help and support Homeless War Veterans with issues which have been lost in government red tape. Some of our diggers have taken their lives within our village leaving children and partners behind. Combat as stated by many of us is easier than fighting the red tape to understand what we are entitled too. Our vision is to provide the essential needs of any human being. One being, accommodation, food,essential services such as metal health mentors and professionals within the field of Military Trauma. "Homes For Heroes", is a growing Philanthropic program run by the generosity of "The War Vets ANZAC Village". Many veterans in the the program showing the camaraderie of once was natural to any Australian Military seems not be existent in today's society. Not knowing where our service people stand leaving these veterans on the streets. Homes For Heroes will continue to help, support and rehabilitate the men and women who have served.Chivalry, respect a honor, which is rare today. Are you a person who will help these people, as there is not much media that contribute to an illusive real issue, also there is not much appreciation by business and the normal family within Australia of much of the contribution of the service our defense force has given for own own freedom.The truth is transparent.
