Assisting current District Manager in Administrative co-ordination and follow up for Continuity visits and re merchandising for Speedway, Navajo and 711 Accounts in West Michigan/Western Indiana/Illinois Markets.

Was responsible for all aspects of retail management. ie..Cash Management/Accountability, P&L Management and Control, Personnel Management, Sales Management, Merchandising, Inventory Management and Control. etc.... In June 2010, I took over a $1.5M store that was designated HSA (High Shrink Assessment). In 18 months, I had succeeded in taking the store from an $85k shrink loss to $55k, a 37% decrease.

Was responsible for all aspects of retail management. ie..Cash Management/Accountability, P&L Management and Control, Personnel Management, Sales Management, Merchandising, Inventory Management and Control. etc.... I started with Family Dollar in Phoenix, AZ. My first store (for 2 years prior to my arrival) was posting $880,000 in sales per year. After 18 months, myself and my team had managed to increase sales to $1.3M mostly due to re-focusing on providing exceptional customer service, and through increased cleanliness and merchandising. I transferred back to Grand Rapids, MI and took over another store in Feb 2009 and proceeded to decrease shrink loss from a 3.44% to a 2.01% to sales (a savings of over $20K in shrink loss dollars) in a period of 1 year.

Phoenix, Arizona Area

Was responsible for all aspects of retail management. ie..Cash Management/Accountability, P&L Management and Control, Personnel Management, Sales Management, Merchandising, Inventory Management and Control. etc.... Managed High volume location. Processed $38K per week in "inside" sales, and $125K per week in gasoline sales, approximately 85% of which was cash processing. In 2 years, never had a cash accountability issue.

Reported directly to the Store Manager. Was in charge of Shipping and Receiving, freight processing, display setup, overnight stocking crew and inventory prep. In addition, I was responsible for being an M.O.D., sales management, cash management and paperwork processing.

Inca Computers purchased Computer Warehouse (where I was employed) in 1998 and opened the Grand Rapids location. I started as Lab Operations Manager, and shortly added on the responsibility of the Operations Manager, as well. I assisted the corporate Lab Operations Regional Manager in creating and setting up the policies and procedures regarding the computer labs, company wide. I was being promoted to District Manager of Lab Operations in the Greater Los Angeles, CA area, when Inca lost their investment funding and decided to shut down operations across the board. I was promoted to Store Manager in July 1999, to manage the operations until the door were closed in Nov 1999

I started here as a computer technician. Shortly after, the owner promoted me to Inside Business Sales, because of my background in both Computer Sales, and Service. When the Service Center Manager resigned, I was promoted to Service Center Manager. From there, I was promoted to Assistant Store Manager, and then to Store Manager, which is the position that I held when Inca Computer Builders purchased the company.
