Served as the Production Manager for our American Presidents Line (APL) client, I was responsible for the management of all severity 1 and 2 production issues that affected this client world-wide. Working to restore, maintain and meet all Service Level Agreements. I was responsible for escalation and notification to the APL client teams and EDS leadership teams, acting as the liaison between operations and the client, driving any and all issue to its completion. I provided vendor escalation, documentation, and service restoration efforts. Served as the Project lead on a companywide global initiative to identify and standardize all General Motors applications worldwide, this included all hardware and software versions for both midrange and mainframe platforms. Designed, implemented and lead a process improvement project to better leverage the work flow process in the NOC. This entailed the implementation of standardized message suppression, merging system views and color coded system messages and WTOR's, allowing operations to monitor multiple mainframe systems health at a glance. Invoked standardized naming conventions across all systems and platforms and consolidation of remote consoles.

Managed the efforts of a nationally leveraged team in remote locations, providing the orientation and acclimation processes for new team members and identified specific skills needing development for each associate. I was responsible for leveraging the skills and strengths of the teams and individuals to achieve results. I created team development activities that promoted creative problem solving and heightened customer awareness. Planed, directed and coordinated all activities pertaining to software/hardware upgrades and installation. I ensured that proper relationships were established and maintained between our customers, partners and vendors to facilitate the delivery of low cost, world-class information technology services.

This was a 15 month overseas assignment role in Australia (AUS) where I worked as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in identifying deficiencies within a control room operation facility. In this role I put together cost cutting and efficiency initiatives to ensure that we were giving our customers legendary services. Project Lead for the Design and implementation of the new Burwood NSW Australia control room. Duties included the reconfiguring of the network. Deployment of new tool sets and automation for the (The Next Generation (TNG), EON and Automated Vantive Cases). I was the project manager for the conversion of 40,000 servers from BMC Patrol to TNG (one monitoring tool to another). I was part of a team that implementation and development of a Severity 1 response team that would handle all operational problems across multiple platforms.

Worked as the team lead for 15 team members; in this capacity I was responsible for staffing, recognition items, updating personnel files, team meetings and employee morale. Responsibilities included ensuring On-line availability, system resource availability, batch job monitoring, abend resolution, documentation and serving as a liaison between customers and support groups utilizing Netview, Omegamon SDSF, TSO,Control M/R and20CA7.
