Tech lead for the Content team building ML models, feature engineering, and pipelines to detect and remove spam, scam, and toxic content from our customers' platforms.

- Worked on store orders service, a transaction order processing service for purchasing Windows 10 apps, physical goods, subscriptions (Xbox Live, Office365, etc), videos, & other content, where I designed and implemented the core subscriptions and recurring billing flow, currently handling $2 billion+ of revenue at Microsoft.- Implemented store 3rd party management APIs with OAuth2.0 that allow 3rd parties to control and manage consumable items within store system as well as administrating for their users.- Provided support for store services as part of on-call team assessing and fixing issues for a vast array of new and legacy services (including those with limited remaining documentation knowledge)- Worked on the store catalog, a non-relational database that stores tens of millions of products as JSON documents, improving data processing pipeline in Cosmos & Scope (Microsoft map-reduce pipeline) improving ingestion times for high priority catalog documents 800%+.

Worked with a team on the entertainment data service, responsible for delivering content to millions of Xbox users around the world. I wrote tools to automate testing and alerting for Xbox Live Services built in Azure, and drove bugs for test failures in our services.

Worked on several projects with a professor on the use of mobile distributed sensor networks embedded in a home to determine the current state of the house in order to optimize energy use, including heating zones based off of actual human presence, heat water only when needed, for example. I focused on the data integrity and use of motion and height sensors to track user locations. I also created an android app to control and monitor the system. I worked in Python for this role, as well as in Java for Android development.
