In December 2019 I returned to Sydney Opera House, an internationally renowned performing arts venue and tourism destination, attracting more than 8 million visitors a year and hosting 2000 performances attended by more than 1.5 million people. My team supports all operational aspects and events at the house. Our mission is to treasure and renew the building for future generations of artists, audiences and visitors and to inspire, and strengthen the community, through everything we do.Between August 2018 to December 2019 I was Senior Manager with BGIS Building Management, providing general business and leadership to the Residential Building Management portfolio. Between April 2016 to July 2018 with BGIS I was positioned at a complex site recognised internationally, adopting sustainable technologies including an on site Thermal Plant and Water Recycling Plant. Central Park, located in Chippendale, has won many awards both in Australia and abroad. BGIS is a leading provider of real estate management services, facilities management services, project delivery services, and workplace solutions. BGIS inspires better business performance across its client’s real estate portfolios by developing and implementing real estate and facilities management strategies.With a global team of 7000+ employees, BGIS manages approximately 30,000,000 square metres of client space across 30,000 locations in Australia, New Zealand, the wider Asia Pacific region, North America and the Middle East.Prior to this I worked with Cushman & Wakefield (Formerly DTZ) at the iconic Sydney Opera House. It is here at this world heritage listed building that Cushman & Wakefield managed the Building Conservation Maintenance. I was also a member of their Diversity Network which assisted in meeting the diverse needs of staff, stakeholders and clients.Prior to this, I was employed with Excel Building Management; Excel Building Management is a Facilities Management company servicing high end strata. This is where I began my career and developed my passion in the FM industry. During my time with Excel Building Management, I provided Facilities Management services at King Street Wharf, Sydney. King Street Wharf is large complex comprising of 3 Precincts that was built for the year 2000 Olympic Games and is now a large multi-strata complex with combined Residential, Retail and Commercial space.In 2013 I successfully achieved a Diploma in Facilities Management through the University of New England Partnerships.
