Michael Lewis is a mortgage and technology industry veteran and feels incredibly blessed and extremely excited to bring his experience and talents to LoanPASS as one of its original creators and President of the company. Finding his way into the mortgage industry by necessity, Michael started in 1998 as a Management Trainee with Flagstar Bank, learning the mortgage origination process by performing the work within every major Wholesale operational departments. After that experience he immediately transferred to the IT department to become involved in training customers on Loantrac, a custom built Loan Origination System (LOS). Since that time he has spent his career working for over a dozen different Banks, Lenders, and Software Companies in positions ranging from System Administration, Professional Services, and various Leadership roles. He has configured, implemented, administered, integrated, trained, managed, and sponsored dozens of different technology systems, and has worked with hundreds of different Lenders across the United States consulting on small to large enterprise software projects successfully over his career. And he is currently taking on his toughest and most rewarding project to date, to create the next generation product, pricing, and decision engine for all lending verticals called LoanPASS. Michael earned a BS degree in Health Promotion from Brigham Young University along with his MBA in E-Business from University of Phoenix and, when away from work, thoroughly enjoys spending time with his family along with an abundance of diversified interests.
