-Specialist in groundwater, stormwater, and soil sampling and analysis in accordance with EPA and NCDEQ environmental compliance regulations. Proficient in writing groundwater monitoring reports, stormwater pollution prevention plans, and other environmental compliance documents.-Conduct landfill gas (LFG) monitoring, analysis, and reporting to ensure EPA and NCDEQ environmental compliance standards are met. Versed in writing LFG monitoring plans and reports.-Extensive knowledge pertaining to 15A NCAC 02L groundwater quality standards, 15A NCAC 02B surface water quality standards, and Interim Maximum Allowable Concentrations (IMACs). Expert at conducting analysis of laboratory analytical reports, creating constituent concentration tables, and creating time vs concentration graphs.-Skillful at calculating groundwater directional flow, groundwater velocities, and creating groundwater potentiometric surface maps.

-Conducted preliminary investigations/responses to incidents that met the harmful quantity definition in 40 CFR part 110.3 or reportable quantities of Hazardous Substances as defined by 40 CFR part 116.4 and part 302.4. Investigations were conducted in the Coastal Zone as delineated by the National Contingency Plan under 40 CFR part 300.120(a)(1). -Bulk Oil/HAZMAT Waterfront Facility Inspector:Served as a Qualified Waterfront Facility inspector. Inspections involved reviews of security and safety for facilities subject to 33 CFR. Reviewed and approved Facility Security Plans, Facility Response Plans, Emergency Response Manuals, and Operations Manuals. Approved permits for operation, Hot Work, and Certificates of Adequacy.-Federal on Scene Coordinator:Served as a Qualified Federal On-Scene-Representative as defined by 40 CFR part 300.120 (a)(1). Responsible for the removal of oil discharges and hazardous substances within the Coastal Zone by accessing the Oil Spill Liability Trust Fund to clean, remove, and dispose of oil (CERCLA funds are used for hazardous substances). Funds were used for contractor services, equipment, other specialists, disposal of the pollution, and destruction of pollution sources when needed.-Pollution Responder:Served as a Qualified Pollution Responder responsible for responding to all pollution incidents within the determined area of responsibility for the United States Coast Guard Captain of the Port. These incidents included sunken vessels, vessel discharges, barge discharges, barge releases, facility discharges, facility releases, vessel collisions, vessel allisions, mystery discharges or release, natural disasters, tank failures, vessel fires, facility fires, or any other maritime incident involving vessels or designated waterfront facilities. Carried out preliminary investigations; determined severity of incidents, responsible party, and scope of incident; investigated source of incident; and enforced penalties when needed.

Coast Guard Cutter DiligenceBoat Deck Captain/Rescue Swimmer/Master Helmsman:-Maintained ship compartments, decks, deck machinery, equipment, external structure, and rigging.-Advanced qualifications led to enhanced mission success in drug interdiction, search and rescue, and illegal migrant interdiction.

-Archived groundwater monitoring well locations at case sites using GPS throughout Eastern NC with the NCDEQ Waste Management Division.-Compiled data from site locations and ArcMap files into ArcGIS database and created a multilayered map on the NCDEQ server composed of incident site specific information.
