• Member of a 15-developer team in the payments department of Amazon and worked with an experience mentor and with two other inters to create webtools to improve work flow and productivity within the team.• Developed a web interface used by the team to navigate and view BAI2 banking files. These files are sent from banks to Amazon to document transactions. BAI2 files are parsed and sent to the accounting department but occasional parsing errors required team members to personally look into these large files. Previous navigation and viewing of these files was cumbersome and time consuming. • Developed the website with Ruby on Rails and contributed 1,400 lines of code. The website featured access control, file navigation, file search, and a parsed file view.• Presented midterm project progress to the team, final project results to the payments department and had code peer-reviewed. • Gained experience in web development, Linux, perforce version control, and working in a production environment.

• Worked closely with another student and professor to enhance a long-term memory system for artificially intelligent agents.• Designed, built and tested an algorithm for identifying important features of events recorded in long-term memory.Presented midterm project progress and final project results to peers and faculty.• Gained experience working in Linux, with version control software, and with the Java Native Interface.
