Michael is a seasoned environmental scientist with experience in property due diligence, remediation, sampling, and industrial hygiene. Michael gained extensive remediation, groundwater monitoring, and sampling experience while working on a former oil refinery/bulk transfer station in west Texas for a large oil and gas client. While working on the remediation project, Michael developed a passion for utilizing new technology and software to create an efficient waste manifest tracking system, which was utilized to track the disposal of over 20,000 cubic yards of contaminated soils to the local landfill. While in the field, Michael became proficient in Texas Risk Reduction Program (TRRP) regulations, as well as waste characterization and disposal (Texas Regulatory Guidance - 22).In addition to soil remediation and disposal, Michael has completed close to 1,000 Phase I ESAs throughout the country, and numerous mold and asbestos inspections in the State of Texas. Michael has participated in several storm and hurricane response teams, conducting mold and asbestos inspections, in response to storm and water damage, including Hurricane Harvey, along the coast of Texas and in the City of Houston.Michael graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Bioenvironmental Sciences in 2015. While at Texas A&M, Michael worked on research projects for Dr. Mariana Mateos in the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences, and Dr. Charles Kenerley in the Department of Plant Pathology and Environmental Microbiology. Michael also worked for the Texas A&M Department of Environmental, Health, and Safety, in the hazardous waste department as a student worker.After graduating from A&M, Michael started working on Phase I ESAs, sampling, remediation, and industrial hygiene in Dallas, Texas.
