I'm a technical lead and a senior full-stack software engineer working on building cutting edge solutions for problems in workforce management, and in the broader sense healthcare technology. I enjoy working in our stack of containerized Python and Javascript/React and in an Agile environment. Developing application for producing graphical representations of integration environments. Developed cloud­-hosted task tracking application. Developed health care integration interfaces for a variety of communication protocols and applications.

Developed proof-­of-­concept end-user application to provide interoperability between two existing IBM server products. Worked on transitioning a successful proof­-of-­concept health care analytics application into a product. Researching new technologies addressing problems of encrypted search and other topics integral to information management.As a senior software engineer for Accenx Technology Inc., I lead development of a Software as a Service Health Information Exchange application ­ primary focus on JavaEE-­based monitoring and hosted ­application framework. Project grew from proof-of-­concept through production implementation a dozens of major hospital systems. Mentored and supervised junior developers as the team grew. Company was acquired for this technology by Initiate Systems Inc. and subsequently by IBM.

Prototyped a custom reporting and information aggregation portal for the Epilepsy Center, part of the Department of Neurology. Worked with the Office of Clinical Integration and Interfaces on developing clinical data interfaces between the various hospitals and information systems within the Health System.Developed custom applications for monitoring and alerting on interface error conditions, reporting on transcription activity, and the department’s request and tracking system among others.

Developed a system for recording and remote playback of security camera systems. Maintained a variety of Unix systems and network hardware.
