I am a recent first-class honours graduate of the Integrated Master's course for Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering in DCU, specialising in Simulated-driven Design. My Final Year Project was titled an "Investigation of loading on buried natural gas pipes" which involved using finite element analysis (FEA) software to model the effect of traffic-induced loading and seismic loading on buried polyethylene pipes for natural gas distribution.I have previously worked as a Student Design engineer at Fingleton White, an EMC Intern at Compliance Engineering Ireland and a supervisor at Tayto Park. I have also gained experience in the Pharmaceutical industry as a Technical Support Engineer at Veolia Water Technologies. My current role is as a Design Engineer at Gas Networks Ireland.
