Recently I have been working on the private development of an historic building - conversion and refurbishment - in Sydney for True North Projects. Having worked in Construction all of my working career thus far, on two continents, I have experience and been involved in the construction of a large variety of types of buildings including: a) Residential including houses - new and renovations; b) Medium density housing (public and private) - including condominiums, units, retirement housing, NDIS special needs housing, town houses and high-rise housing;c) Institutional - including aged care facilities, elementary/ middle/ high schools (both renovations and new), universities, hospitals, churches, science labs and prisons;d) Commercial including - clubs, big box retail, high rise offices, conversions to offices, chain stores, new head offices, auditoriums, sport facilities, work camps, mineral export loading facilities, sport facilities, restaurants, fast food, specialized facilities, shopping arcades, armories, banks;e) Government - social housing, schools, community precincts, public works, post offices and libraries and industrial building; Recently I have worked on both State and Federally funded projects.f) Industrial - chemical plant, gas distribution, process engineering and storage facilities; g) Civil works - including car parks, underground parking, roads, drainage, retention basins, civil structuresh) Refurbishment of historic building and a variety of commercial and residential buildings I have worked in Australia and North America, i.e., in both hot and cold climates and have been exposed to specific building techniques typical to those regions. I have worked in various capacities including project manager, senior project manager and estimator.
