I lead the IT Applications group at Weatherford. In this role I am responsible for all budgeting and HR decisions within my business unit. My group provides governance and oversight for day to day operational issues as well as new projects. My group works with the senior leadership of the business and the PMO office to evaluate new initiatives including cloud based solutions, estimate budgetary and resource needs along with prioritizing work between competing priorities. We also oversee Weatherford’s IT SOX compliance evaluating new security roles as well as new programs for their impact on Segregation of Duty conflicts as well as directing the conduct of the quarterly and Annual Audit reviews.I started at Weatherford helping with the roll out of our JD Edwards finance implementation, moved to a Support role ultimately moving to lead the Support organization globally in multiple locations. I was responsible for all budgeting and hiring decisions globally within the Support organization. I transitioned to the business side and was then recruited back into IT to lead the finance team which expanded to include HR/Payroll and Annual SOX audits. This was again expanded this year to cover all of Weatherford's ERP modules and got additional responsibility over Sales/Procurement/Inventory and Manufacturing in addition to my existing role.I love working with my team to solve business problems. I have through the years worked on many projects that required enhancements to existing functionality, data conversions and interfaces between various software solutions. I have been part of multiple full life cycle implementations including with agile methodologies and have been responsible for analysis, design, training, configuration and post go live support.
