Deputy executive commissioner of Operations within Medicaid and CHIP services for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. I oversee infrastructure that crosses both the managed care and fee-for-service delivery models. Areas of accountability include: Vendor Drug Program, Provider Enrollment, Claims Administration, IDD Waiver Program and Medicaid Modernization.

Supporting the COO for Consumer Operations within the Chief of Staff and Strategy Team.

• Directly responsible to manage all aspects of four pillars to include: Operations Project and Program delivery, Vendor Relations, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Lean Six Sigma Process Improvement• Substantiate Operations and IT business units in strategic planning, budget reviews and planning. Implement cost savings analysis and recommendations for a $250M budget.• Administer and direct enterprise governance workgroups for strategy and scalability• Develop and implement risk mitigation plans regarding growth, strategy and infrastructure• Advance policy documentation, communication, review and adherence through governance structures, workgroups and compliance reviews

*Identify process improvement opportunities in collaboration with business partners to continuously improve processes, and provide recommendations leading to an improved impact to the member/client/prescriber.*Develop and present effective presentations to a diverse population of individuals across the PBM with varying responsibilities, educational backgrounds and interests to facilitate and drive improvement.*Serve as a coach/mentor to staff to help individuals develop more rapidly and produce more satisfying results including improved ability to set goals, take actions, make better decisions, present complex information effectively, assess for comprehension and measure proficiency.*Perform root cause analysis based on raw data in order to formulate recommendations to minimize errors and maximize performance of the PBM operation.*Enhance productivity and effectiveness of pharmacy infrastructure*Strengthen the performance-driven culture of the PBM*Grow revenue and margin via value-added analysis and recommendations;
