In this ever evolving industry it is imperative we stay abreast of new solutions that assist in enhancing guest experience, but also be mindful not to lose sight of the very core component of hospitality – “offering genuine customer service”. This can only be achieved within one’s self. Caring about what you do, listening to your customers, displaying empathy and following through to ensure customer satisfaction is not just met, but exceeded, resulting in the customer becoming a return one. Coming from a Hotel operational background in my early years it is these core values and beliefs that drive me today, whether this be in enhancing relationships with all my customers, being open and adaptable to change, staying abreast of innovative technology or improving my own personal and professional skills. Ultimately, my achievements rest within the knowing that I have been able to contribute, first-hand, to the enhancement of guest experience, resulting in an overall increase in brand loyalty and recognition.
