Currently managing small programming group and doing software development at the same time. I use Visual Studio to develop code in C# using WPF (Infragistics WPF controls), MVVM, Expression Blend and ReSharper. Experience writing unit tests and have done test driven development. In the past I've also programmed using C++, VB .Net, Perl and VB script.I've been part of Agile scrum methodology since 2009. Have experience with Version One, Target Process and Jira to keep track of agile stories, backlog, etc. for use with our scrum team.Have experience with ClearCase and currently using Git for code repositories. I've worked in the EDA industry since 1984 as a PCB Design Engineer, Applications Engineer, Senior Consultant, and Software Engineer. Except from 1988 to 1990, when I was at school at BYU. I have been working for Intergraph/VeriBest/Mentor Graphics and with the same group of people all these years.Mentor Graphics bought Intergraph Electronics / VeriBest in November 1999. In July of 2011 I was transferred to the Mechanical Analysis Division within Mentor Graphics and am still working with them as a Software Engineer and now as a Software Engineering Manager/Software Engineer.Siemens purchased Mentor Graphics April 2017 and renamed Mentor Graphics to Mentor a Siemens business.
