Regional Director of operations for corporate locations in the western US and business consultant to franchise owners in the western US

Extensive travel and broad scope responsibilities are required in this position where I serve as abusiness consultant and Regional Support Manager to 90 franchises and oversee as directreport to nine facility managers for the corporation’s company owned branches. Territoryencompasses all the western states and includes sales, customer service, corporate strategyand P&L performance. Revenue in the 9 branch locations in 2012 was $7.7 million and in thefranchise locations, $281 million.

Oversee all aspects of pickup/delivery services including 6 onsite operations managers and110 hourly employees. Financial responsibilities calculate at a revenue figure of $200 millionannually. Created a program for a select group of customers that enabled them to receive theirpackages and letters earlier thereby improving the customer experience while also enhancingproductivity at the station level. In FY08 I received two awards for operational efficiency inservice and productivity.

Responsible for platform facilitation, coaching, group leadership instruction, content writingand review as well as serving the company in consultation for future HRD projects. Deliveredleadership training for management within FedEx Express worldwide from entry levelmanagement to executive officer. This position required extensive travel, long term planningand organizational skills as well as an intuitive approach to other cultures and differentsocieties.

As an Operations Manager in Monterey, California we made year over year productivityenhancements to the local operation. After three years in Monterey I was promoted toErlanger, Kentucky to the position of a Senior Manager where we assisted Gap in rolling outtheir new "Gap Online Program”. After 9 months at this facility I was asked to take a largerfacility in the Dayton, Ohio market that had operational and employee relations issues.

Purchased and expanded local retail / manufacturing company. Expansion included twoadditional retail locations as well as a new manufacturing location. Created a new ice creamline of over 40 flavors and introduced a new hot fudge line that sold in both retail andwholesale venues. These lines are still available today. Sold the business in 1995.
