I started here in November and have been welcomed warmly and supported throughout. my main roles include completing inductions for new starters. I am looking at developing my knowledge of the different departments within 123 to carry out further departmental training. I have also been updating current material and providing new activities to make training more interactive.

I have been training at Home Retail Group for 6 years but worked here for 8 years. I started out taking calls as a customer service adviser. I was asked to apply for the training role and passed my assessment. My main roles are to ensure advisers are up to speed with their knowledge and understanding of main processes for resolving customer queries. I also have to ensure my advisers are aware of their main KPIs and how simple steps can be taken to maintain control of these KPIs.I really enjoy my job there is loads of satisfaction taking someone who struggles with talking to customers and making them into great advisers helping the business reach its objectives.

Runcorn

I was hired in Tesco to replenish stock and stock rotation. I enjoyed this job role as I could get stuck in and I was responsible for the presentation and upkeep of my own area. I developed my skills learning how to use the tills so the store was able to call on me if we had a busy surge.We had a spell of doing late shifts so we could update the shop floor and I was asked to supervise some of our younger staff members as there were limited manager cover. I took to this very easily and was able to delegate and we completed the work in a timely fashion. I really enjoyed working in Tesco the main reason for leaving was Tesco not being able to offer me more hours.

Runcorn

I worked in my local Cinema as a part time member of staff whilst completing my college studies. I was trained on all aspects of the cinema from bar staff, concessions team member and also part of the cleaning team once films had finished. We had to ensure the screens met a great standard for each showing. I was trained as a money handler and had to ensure my till balanced at the end of every shift.
