Developed single line of sight across all capital responsibilities within Disability and Community Care Services and the creation and implementation of several administrative protocols achieving the desired outcome of providing accurate and consistent information for monitoring capital expenditure;Developed monthly Capital Grants Bars report overseeing $137 million in capital grants expenditure;Developed monthly Capital outlays report in collaboration with Financial Services and Facilities Management presented at Senior Executive Team Meetings;Developed high level reporting documents including Possible Parliamentary Questions and Questions on Notice, providing accurate up to date information on a number of capital topics for the Minister;Lead role in the completion of the annual estimates process for up to 15 Capital Estimates Briefs and end of year SDS reporting;Assisted in the development of support models to provide a range of supported accommodation options through the 2011-12 and 2012-13 Disability and Community Care Services land acquisition program;Project Manager of the Queensland All Abilities Playgrounds project overseeing the completion of 8 of the 16 playgrounds located throughout Queensland;Assisted in the development of the Planning Allocation Tool supporting the Department’s overall goal of red tape reduction by streamlining business processes, capturing recurrent and planned operational investment;Assisted in the research of the Department’s future Disability growth areas through extensive analysis of Australian Bureau of Statistics, National Minimum Data Set and Business Information System data.

Led and managed the Disability Services investment of over $1.465 billion in within 100% expenditure;Management of the Disability Services and Portfolio Renewal establishment of over 177 funded positions;Developed and implement the internal and external staff learning and development strategy in line with the Department’s strategic plan heading towards the National Disability Insurance Scheme;Lead and manage the investment management functions including quality and timely support and advice around management of financial and governance matters;Develop and implement the Disability Services investment and procurement plans;Provided high level, accurate and concise advice to Senior Executives including, developing and contributing to the annual estimates process, developing responses on behalf of the Minister through any Questions on Notice, Ministerial briefings and media statements;Ability to anticipate business requirements, leading to cost efficiencies and continuous improvement of ongoing business and operational development;Provided high level monthly reports on human resource and financial matters.

Developed establishment management tool to assist in the management of FTE’s (appointments, extensions, cessations etc.) within Disability Programs and Reform;Oversaw the Disability Programs and Reform employee expenses and supplies and services budget including end of month variance and accrual reporting;Accurate delivery of information using the Departments financial systems and software packages including SAP and SAS;Assisted in the development of staff achievement and career planning in line with the Departments strategic direction.

Managed over 300 Residential Care Officer salaries within the Accommodation and Respite Services Ipswich office;Oversaw management of over 150 client financial affairs including individual budget builds and external consultation with individuals, families and the Public Trustee;Staff induction presentations to potential Residential Care Officers including salary and entitlements and client financial affair information training.
