For the past 10 years I have honed my skills in the baking and pastry arts industry. In that time I worked on a baking book, took on a supervisory role to lead a team of bakers, taught classes to at-home bakers, and developed my skills as a cake decorator. More recently I’ve had the opportunity to use my year of experience to set up the infrastructure of a young business. In the year and a half I’ve been there I have created and developed systems to stream line every facet of the business from how we organize orders, communication with clients and the physical flow of the space it’s self. My work here has helped this business to not only pull through COVID but also to see financial growth consistently month after month. some of my most notable achievements include my time as a team lead where I increased our team’s efficiencies leading to increased output and revenue, and my time training new employees and at-home bakers. Moving forward I hope to find new opportunities where I can exercise my natural and learned problem solving, communication and interpersonal abilities while learning new skills.
