About Michael Luxton
I started my career in a government scheme - foundation engineering in 1995 in Perth, Western Australia. I was then taken on as a apprentice electrician which I carried out at Carrier air-conditioning and qualified in 2000 as a fully qualified Electrical tradesman. I have furthered my education in 2001 to endorse my trade to advance engineering by redeeming the instrumentation certificate in process controlling/instrumentation.In 2002 , I furthered my career by working in London, U.K by working self-employed for various contracts as banks,government buildings,commercial datacentres,media facilities. I furthered my experience in 2004-2007 taking on engineering fabrication LV/HV,electrical domestic installations,commercial,industrial wiring of installations and working as a technician in a factory on PLC systems,conveyor systems ,robotics & heavy machinery. In 2007 I worked full time in the maintenance industry as a mobile multi-skilled engineer throughout southern England . 2010 , I worked for the duration of over 2 years at Lambeth College as lead engineer . I was successful in winning the extension in there contract . 2011-2013 employed by Platinum Facilities for the Sony Entertainment contract. I was assistant supervisor but also covering as a supervisor to attend meetings,send quotations,invoices,auditing folders,monthly reports.I was successful with management to achieve the endorsement of ISO 9001 & 14001 accreditation. My main roles as a Mechanical and Electrical engineer/Site supervisor at present are as follows;• Supervise contractors and issue work permits,inductions,RAMS• Audit and update site folders for subcontractors • Carry out PPM tasks • Carry out reactive tasks • Report to client,managers and give updates, reports,quotations• Asset register and dilapidation reports • Monthly reports to building consultants• Quotations and sending purchase orders • Carry out weekly toolbox meetings• Create spreadsheets to update foldersl
