A dedicated software developer with 17+ years of experience of building and maintaining applications - from back in the days with desktop applications written in MFC, over embedded C++ in B&O TV to production applications written for SOA and Azure with C#. The current job is all about web development, which sounds like a lot of fun.My passion for software is the ability to be creative and make complex applications simple and easy to maintain, using a proper architecture, design patterns and the SOLID principles. Latest of my discoveries is Domain Driven Design, Functional principles and Clean architecture, which I like to become more familiar with over the coming years. In my last job I had the pleasure of being responsible of apprentices with an interest in programming. Providing my experience gained over the years, I hopefully added to their skills an understanding of the classic 3-Layer architecture, algorithms, design patterns and SOLID. Teaching is like learning twice, as they say.
