I managed a large team and a high number of vendor agreements & contracts. A key strength of mine is to work closely with the senior leadership team and meeting business needs with workable IT solutions.This role has helped me become proficient in running an IT service and IT projects for a large organisation. I was able to build my own team and implement the service I felt would have the biggest user impact. Key achievements: Manage IT Support: I oversee the day-to-day running of three drop-in IT support centres, which deliver a new consumerised support model.Deployment: I have managed programs to deploy 4000+ new laptops with full user state and data migrations; 3500+ mobile phones and a companywide OS upgrade. Borrow-IT: Working with the Microsoft Leadership Team it became clear the UK business needed a program to lend Windows hardware to customers. My department was capable of meeting this need and created a program called Borrow-IT which now lends over 500 devices a month to external customers. New London HQ: I led the operational IT team in opening new central London headquarters and decommissioning of four London offices.Purchasing: A key part of the UK RFP team for large tech purchases. Recent successes include reducing printing costs by over 30% whilst improving the user experience. Overseeing the day-to-day procurement for the IT department. Compliance: I work closely with the compliance team handling audits, and managing both legal and regulatory compliance. I also helped deploy a new meeting room AV experience which was powered by Skype technology.
