Responsible for all marketing initiatives & strategies for an international seafood importer, wholesaler and manufacturer. Integral part of a leadership team focused on developing, importing and promoting 1,100 seafood SKUs and seven brands. Responsible for all packaging and brand development for products sourced from 50+ countries. Leads new product development team as well as drives all corporate communications, social, website, marketing research, photography, design and event management efforts. Accomplishments:• Created and launched new socially responsible and sustainable seafood brand across multiple channels (SeaTru)• Led product development team, creating go-to-market strategies for more than 50 new products generating millions in additional sales in the past year alone• Created marketing department from scratch which included hiring all staff, creating all processes and procedures, developing KPI/ROI metrics, and developing all brand identities• Developed and implemented marketing and business plan for entire company that is focused on new channel penetration• Implemented brand and packaging standards and developed and launched Ocean Delight brand • Re-positioned company as a leader in sustainability and product innovation • Part of channel development team (retail, national accounts, GPOs) which includes incorporating buying group and re-distribution partnerships • Leading team on GS1 standards implementation and SKU rationalization efforts• Board Advisor for the Boston Fisheries Foundation promoting the rights of fishermen and the benefits of seafood in Massachusetts• Helped found the Boston Seafood Hall of Fame and served as an event consultant for the Boston Seafood Festival• Communications Committee Member – National Fisheries Foundation
