Prepare and enact lesson plans for students of various levels, conduct promotional events, work closely with Chinese teachers to ensure students progress, attend and contribute to staff meetings, and meet parents/school standards through review processes. Working with students from ages 4-17 of varying levels in groups of 4-22 in after school and weekend classes. Maintaining classroom control, keeping children happy and engaged while providing a stimulating setting and delivering consistent and measurable growth.

Carry out day-to-day shop maintenance, cash flow, run state lottery, manage in- store ATM, stock and inventory control, order new products, work with various sales reps from around the state for different distributors including alcohol, tobacco, and various foodstuffs. Ran store on independent shifts, opening and closing procedures, and performed security procedures. Trained one employee. Performed standard ID checks and followed rigorous state standards for the sale of controlled products.

Welcoming customers, processing ticket and membership sales, guiding visitors through exhibits, and running the museum theatre. Working as part of a team to provide quality customer service to increase museum attendance and make sure guests have a full and enjoyable experience of new exhibits. Currently working on the Real Pirates exhibit with photo editing, crowd control, audio tour rental, and scheduling responsibilities.

Opened and closed the store, led employees to efficiently and courteously provide quality service, oversaw staff, mediated staff disputes, performed prep-cook tasks, stocked inventory, worked register, and fielded guest complaints to make sure no one ever left unhappy.Increased sales, decreased customers complaints, and led the region in 2013 Diabetes Fundraising drive.

Taught English as a second language to students of various competency levels while engaging them in their own language and with a studied knowledge of their cultural background to create specific learning programs to maximize a student's potential. Also worked at "on the street" language courses to promote schools and generate interest in the companies I represented. For every "on the street" class I led, the school gained an average of 7 students; at this school the tutoring was primarily one-on-one.

Sales Associate: Found and engaged prospective customers in a door-to-door framework selling cable, internet, and phone subscriptions. Worked planning own routes for maximized effectiveness by analyzing network install dates, future housing and business development, and failed sales campaigns from previous employees. This was a commission based position. Worked with a range of customers rarely seen outside door-to-door sales in both welcoming and openly hostile environments and adapted to achieve the sale and please the customer. In new targeted areas my sales surpassed quota each month and in areas where sales campaigns had been performed I consistently acquired at least 20% of previous holdouts.

Taught ESL material, Critical reading and writing skills, and art to students from different backgrounds. I made specific, goal oriented plans for each of my students, taking into account their interests and abilities and took each of them to the level of success they were capable of. My tasked ranged from quiz partner for A students to home teacher breaking down every in-class concept for personal understanding to failing students who stayed in school as a direct result or our work together.
