I have my own consultancy service offering IT and business management advice. As well as general experience, I have extensive specialist knowledge of general practice and NHS IT and management. From process review to implementation of recommended changes, I can help you with all stages. I have over twenty years of experience working in management positions with significant responsibility for a wide range of functional areas including human resources, finance, health and safety, compliance and information management and technology. I spent nearly fourteen years successfully managing a general practice in the NHS which provided a new challenge every year! Practice Management required a diverse mix of skills, not least the ability to deal with a frequently changing financial and contractual framework.I have an excellent knowledge of many IT matters from networking to HTML and PHP programming with back end databases. I am a Microsoft Office Specialist. The majority of this has been self taught through personal interest in computing and programming. I chaired a local systems user group for five years.
