As a matador motorsports member, I was in charge of determining new designs with high level simulation validation of the team's new car with a goal of iteration off of the previous design. My initial task was to conduct data analysis on tires in order to determine the best pick for our new car. After this, my attention was given to other non-suspension related components such as the clutch lever, catch cans, brake pedal, pneumatic shifter, and front wing.Each component belonged to a different sub team and therefore had different process of design and iteration. My key take away was that team work really makes the dream work. We could not have gone far without communication and input from other members. Show less
