I'm a licensed clinical psychologist in Colorado in full-time private practice.I specialize in working with couples, individuals in depth, and people dealing with chronic pain. While I have a background in depth psychotherapy--psychoanalysis, existential and contemplative psychotherapy, both individual and group--I also have extensive training and practice in CBT, DBT, MBCT, ACT and SFBT. I have worked extensively with depression/anxiety, mental illness, pain management, drug and alcohol counseling, and ADHD coaching. I am interested in attachment, development, mindfulness, neuroscience and the unconscious, and how to bring attention and awareness to subtle and long standing patterns which are affecting our ability to live more fully. More recently I have been training with Stan Tatkin in PACT (Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy) and have done extensive work with couples. I have been a court expert witness in various areas. I am a writer and have just published (with many others) a book, an edited collection of tributes for one of my psychotherapy mentors, entitled, "The Buddha, the Bike, the Bouch and the Circle: A Festschrift for Dr. Robert Unger." I also enjoy doing clinical supervision. I have worked extensively in Spanish, and with people from a wide variety of diverse cultural backgrounds.
