 Recruited by Sr. Electrical Operations Manager to spearhead efforts to solidify Global Experience Specialist’s (GES) recently established exclusive relationship with the Sheraton Grand Chicago. Responsibilities included the development, implementation and continued improvement for all sales and production aspects of electrical utility services including up front quoting, on-site facilitation and collections for Midwest regions largest hotel-based trade show, convention and meetings facility. Hotel has 120,000 total sq. ft including 40,000 sq ft ballroom, 30,000 sq ft of exhibition space and 50,000 sq ft. of meeting space.  During my tenure at GES I have managed more than 200+ shows annually, generating gross revenues in excess of $1.3M annually and have been credited by senior management with putting policies and procedures in place which have resulted in above average revenues, cost savings of more than $35K, and reduced contracted union labor hours by an average of more than 325 hours each year.

 Directly responsible for the scheduling, installation, billing, and collection for all utility services for tradeshow exhibitors on a show-by-show basis at the country’s largest trade show & convention center. Negotiate exhibitor needs and mediate disputes in a time sensitive environment. Independently interact with a wide variety of labor unions to insure compliance with authority, city, and state guidelines while insuring client safety and satisfaction and union participation.
