Hello, I am headed into my Junior year in the Craig & Brown Engineering Honors program at Texas A&M University and I am majoring in Computer Science Engineering with a minor in Discrete Mathematics & Cybersecurity. I have a deep interest in physics and Quantum computing and aspire to learn all I can about this developing platform as well as the challenging problem of innovative ways to protect information through cybersecurity at quantum computing speeds. I also have an interest in Artificial Intelligence and machine learning which I am digging into a bit more in the coming year. I'll be expanding my knowledge in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud computing and twin computing so I can hone my skills in areas that interest me most. This summer I've accepted a study abroad in Greece where I'll be taking a Design and Analysis of Algorithms class. My current projected graduation year is 2025 and I hope to also incorporate additional study abroad semesters prior to graduation. At TAMU, I have been involved in the Engineering Honors Program, the MSC Conway Fitzhugh International Honors Leadership Seminar and was part of the Texas A&M Water polo club. I am also passionate about research particularly in the area of quantum computing and AI. Therefore, I'm inspired by the various research opportunities available at TAMU and will be exploring these opportunities in the Computer Science Engineering department Senior year. I have co-founded QuantA&M; a professional engineering club which launched December 2022. Last spring, while at TAMU I completed the Biomedical Responsible Conduct of Research through CITI, an ethics training program for those conducting or reviewing research on human subjects.In my down time I enjoy playing water polo, swimming, skiing/snowboarding, hiking, volunteering in the community, playing and learning the guitar as well as, listening to all genre of music including classical, jazz, folk, classic rock and country.
