On call 24/7 to ensure the Invergordon Lifeboat is manned and ready to answer the call when needed, as Crew Member, this role can involve many tasks in Search and Rescue from clear communication skills to 3rd parties such as the MCA, Casualty vessels etc, to Navigation, and work with the coxswain or and other crew to carry out duties to operate the lifeboat during rescues and also ensure the safety of the people that have been rescued.As the Fund-raising is main part of RNLI. This role includes organising local Fund-raising Events and help run them with assistance from local Lifeboat crew and other branch members. Organise and minute branch meetings and often the 1st point in call of all branch correspondence.
